Infinite Salon PDX
I tried to set Infinite Salon apart from the masses by designing a minimalist, modern website, which reflects the Infinite Salon personality while having a hint of artistry while allowing for easy updates. By incorporating their existing logo and colour pallet I branded the site according to the creative brief
With Infinite Salon’s site, the owners came to me with a very simple request, clean, minimalist, and edgy.

Define
In researching other salons, I realized the bar was not very high. So, I scrapped the idea of a conventional salon site and moved on to a consumer-focused informational site with a CTA of booking an appointment. In the end, the client loved this approach and we then collaborated on custom line icons to make it feel just a step more elevated.
Ideate – Through Wireframes
Iterations
While working with key stakeholders and going through user testing we iterated various aspects of the learning management system (LME/VLE). I did several rounds of best practice research on the features most used by services that were already well established. We polled our members and potential users on products already in market to help establish direction and usability.

UX/UI
Strategy, user research, wireframing & prototyping are just a few tools in this narrowed UX portfolio. Projects which show an understanding of business goals and user behavior while using human centered design to accomplish goals.
Illustration
Visual communication in a more traditional form. From children’s illustrations to infographics this portfolio specific to visual arts that communicate original ideas to clients for a wide range of products.
